Welcome to our first episode of Personalities. This show will feature real people telling their real stories. Their highs and lows, triumphs and failures and what has brought them to where they are in life today. You will hear their insights on the struggles they have faced and the drive and passion that have carried them through to the success and happiness they enjoy today.

On this episode we feature our inaugural guest, Daniel J. Lewis of the Noodle.MX podcast network. Daniel has been a podcaster since 2007 and is the producer and host of the clean comedy podcast "The Ramen Noodle" and the popular how-to-podcast show "The Audacity To Podcast". Daniel is a full time podcaster, web and graphic designer and he talks with us in this episode about what led him to begin podcasting, as well as valuable insights on how to build a successful podcast, website and what it takes to last over the long term and to not pod-fade after a few episodes. He’ll share the story of his life over the past several years of turning his passion and hobby into his livelihood all while obtaining balance between the effort and time it takes building a successful business, enjoying his personal life and sharing with his wife in a rewarding and loving marriage

The life of a podcaster is a busy one and without proper planning, knowledge, and self-motivation most simply disappear after a few episodes. Daniel discusses with us why someone must have a passion for pursuing podcasting. As he says frequently on his podcast, The Audacity To Podcast, you must have POD to podcast (Passion, Organization and Dialogue).

So join us now as we share in the story of a man as he pursues his dreams on the road to success and more importantly, happiness.

Thank for joining us on Episode# 19 of The Tour Bus Music Show. Rocking the world from Southern Louisiana. On this episode we’ll talk with Jeremy Edge, the lead guitarist, of Williamsport, PA’s Candlelight Red. This band has been hitting the radio airwaves and the internet music scene with the impact of a Juggernaut. Having hit the ground running Candlelight Red beat out over 10,000 bands to win Guitar Centers On-Stage Competition. In which they won a $10,000 shopping spree and Guitar Center along with being hand picked by Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons to win the coveted spot of opening for one of the ultimate rock legends, KISS in 2010. Since then their momentum has only increased with them continuing to share the stage with some of today’s best rock groups such as Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Staind, Lacuna Coil and Three Days Grace. The bands’ lead axe slinger Jeremy Edge takes a few minutes out of their busy touring schedule with Saving Abel to talk with T. Mic about the history of the group as well as what is currently going on now and the near future for the band.

CANDLELIGHT RED IS:

RYAN HOKE - LEAD VOCALS

JEREMY EDGE - GUITAR/BACKING VOCALS

JAMIE MORRAL - BASS GUITAR/BACKING VOCALS

JOSH HETRICK - DRUMS

With the group’s permission we’ll also feature four songs from their soon to be released album, The Wreckage on Imagen Records and talk about the story behind several of the songs off of the album. Produced by David Ivory, The Wreckage stands as a testament to hard work and talented musicianship. The whole album has a great sound and in T. Mic’s opinion there is not a track on the album that doesn’t ROCK! We’ll be featuring their hot single “Closer” as well as the groovin’ rocker “In Your Hands”. The guys also cover a cool version of Roxette’s “She’s Got the Look” and we wrap up the show with the driving song Gone Forever.

Jeremy also discusses his past and what led him to a career in music and a life of the road. As a matter of fact that is exactly where he called in from as he was in transit during the course of our interview. Candlelight Red’s new album will be released at the end of September 2011.  Information on the band, their tour dates and current news can be found at www.myspace.com/candlelightred and www.reverbnation.com/candlelightred

Here at My Symphony Of Life we enjoy reading all types of books and different genre’s.  We are defiantly a book worm family! If you have kids who in grades 5-8 they’ll enjoy this book. I had the pleasure to read This Means War. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I found myself reminiscing through my childhood. How many time’s when you were younger you’d state THIS MEANS WAR! Options: rock, paper, scissors, not it, let’s race. In this situation as the characters in this book went through girls are just as good as boys…even better and stronger! The challenge begins. Ellen take’s us through the battle of the sexes! Everyone stands behind the challenge and they find out it’s worth fighting for. It’s a wonderful book about growing up, finding out who they are, individually and working together in this challenge girls vs. boys…This means war! I found this book a great history tool as well as it takes you back to the year 1962 and this is set in the midst of the Cuban Missile Crisis. It’s a historical lesson during the period and its keeps kids wanting to learn more without bombarding them with dry historical facts. This is a must read book! This reaches students in which they can relate to on certain level. I encourage you to get this book and check out Ellen’s website at www.ellenwittlinger.com.  If you’re looking for a speaker for conferences, school visits or library engagements please contact Ellen Wittlinger.
